In this collection, I find inspiration in the movement of water and the ever-changing rhythm of the waves — sometimes calm, sometimes wild, always in motion and transformation. The name Sjoen comes from Estonian Swedish and means sea.

In the raw, unglazed surface of the stoneware, the light is captured and moves gently over the form throughout the day, revealing new expressions as it changes.
